Abelia X Grandiflora Edward Goucher Glossy Abelia has an upright-spreading vase form with numerous thin stems emerging from the ground. Stems eventually branch near their tips, forming a shrub with a broad top and a narrow base. Edward Goucher Glossy Abelia's cascading habit makes it an ideal specimen, foundation shrub, or border shrub. The foliage emerges maroon and fades to dark green during active growth, giving the shrub a reddish cast. The small powderpuff-pink flowers add color throughout the warm months.
