Rubus X Apache Blackberry

Rubus X Apache Blackberry is a deciduous shrub producing an early crop of berries. It has pink-white flowers that bloom in the spring. These blossoms give way to clusters of shiny, black berries in June, suitable for preparing jams and syrups. The foliage displays large green and serrated leaves.This fruit shrub makes an excellent hedge or privacy screen. As an edible berry, Apache is suitable for fresh eating, baking or preserves. Apache Blackberry is thornless and thrives in full sun and rich, slightly acidic soil that is moist, but well-drained.
