Mahonia Bealei Leatherleaf Mahonia

Mahonia Bealei Leatherleaf Mahonia is cascaded with foliage of large, leathery, blue-green leaves. Short erect bunches of aromatic, lemon-yellow blossoms are produced by Leatherleaf Mahonia for 4-6 weeks in winter. The blossoms are followed by the production of shiny, grape-like, blue-purple berries in late spring. This handsome shrub displays an upright growth and is perfect for planting along banks or slopes. Leatherleaf Mahonia thrives in partial to full shade and fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils.
