Pittosporum Eugenioides Lemonwood

Pittosporum Eugenioides Lemonwood is an evergreen shrub that is conical when young and becomes more or less rounded upon growing fully. Lemonwood's mottled yellow-green leaves have curly edges and bright midribs. They exude a strong lemony fragrance on being crushed. In spring, Lemonwood produces strongly aromatic, yellow-cream blossoms. The blossoms give way to distinctive capsules enclosing black seeds. The shrub prefers moist, well-drained soils under full sun. It has a bushy growth habit and can be used for hedge, screen, or topiary.
