Thuja Occidentalis 'Degroot's Spire' Arborvitae features scaled, evergreen foliage on a narrow form tree. It does best in average, moist, well-drained soils with full sun. In 15-20 years, it can reach 20 feet high and 4–6 feet wide. 'Degroot's Spire' Arborvitae works well for borders, grouped and as hedges. It has rich green foliage that is twisted, feathery, and exudes a purple hue in the winter. This evergreen conifer has a graceful pyramidal shape and a slow pace of growth.
