Viburnum X Burkwoodii Mohawk Viburnum

Viburnum X Burkwoodii Mohawk Viburnum displays shiny, ovate dark green leaves with variegated shades of orange and red during fall. In April, showy red flower buds give way to aromatic white blossoms with a red tone on petal reverses. The flowers are followed by pendulous masses of red berries that mature to black in mid to late summer. Mohawk Viburnum performs best in average, humus-rich, moderately fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soil under full sun to part shade. The compact upright habit of Mohawk Viburnum makes it ideal for a hedge, screen, or specimen. This deciduous shrub is drought resistant and needs little maintenance.
