Pyrus Communis Pear

Pyrus Communis Pear has red and yellow-shaded fall foliage. The dark green leaves are ovate to elliptic and glossy with crenate to serrate margins. The fruit tree with upright and pyramidal form is ideal for espaliers. Pear showcases 5-petaled, aromatic, creamy-white flowers in early spring on spur-like branchlets. The flowers give way to pear-shaped, edible fruit, ripening from mid-summer to fall. Pear performs best in humusy loams, well-drained, medium-moist soils, and full sun.
