Our diversity and inclusion efforts are focused on creating a work environment that is respectful and supportive of each of our associates and which places the team first.
We are in the process of developing several associate resource groups to celebrate and support our associates. These are voluntary, associate-led groups that serve as a resource for members and organizations by fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with an organizational mission, values, goals, business practices and objectives. Our associate resource groups currently include:
VETS1
VETS1 was developed to support SiteOne associates who are affiliated with a branch of the United States military. VETS1 hosts and supports veteran-oriented community events and causes.
UNIDOS
Unidos is an associate resource group focused on our Hispanic associates to build relationships with fellow associates, foster an understanding of Hispanic culture and enrich the experience of our associates, customers and communities.
Women in the Green Industry Event
The Women in the Green Industry event is an annual event for SiteOne customers, associates and supply partners focusing on product knowledge, business training and networking to help women grow personally and professionally in the landscape industry. The event has been hosted by SiteOne or its predecessor company since 1995.
Our customers and our suppliers also represent a diverse group of business owners and employees from many backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures. We support our Spanish speaking customers by offering bilingual signage in our branch locations and, once launched, we intend to offer a Spanish-language version of our e-Commerce website.
