OFFSIDE is designed to provide improved deposition of spray applications by modifying the size of individual spray droplets. In untreated spray solutions, many of the spray droplets are either too large (>500 microns) or too small (<150 microns) for most applications. Droplets that are too large fall faster and may bounce off the intended target, landing on the soil where it will not have the desired effect. Droplets that are too small will take longer to reach the intended target and are susceptible to blowing away from the desired application area before they land. When added to tank mixes, OFFSIDE maximizes the percentage of spray droplets within the ideal size range that will land on their targets for improved efficacy. By augmenting the number of droplets in this range, an applicator can be confident that more of the sprayed solution will hit the intended targets without bouncing off or drifting away
