Lonicera Fragrantissima Winter Honeysuckle

Lonicera Fragrantissima Winter Honeysuckle is a broadleaf, deciduous or semi-evergreen non-native shrub with a height range of 6 to 10 feet and a width of the same. It has a tangled, cane-like growth and a mass of branches. Very tiny, creamy white blooms with a lemon smell may bloom in mild areas from December to March. The leaves are round and wide. They appear after the flowers and range from mild blue-green to dark green. Numerous small, dark red berries, usually concealed by the foliage, develop in abundance in late spring to early summer. Winter Honeysuckle is excellent for borders, hedges, and screens and grows well in well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade.
