Panicum Virgatum 'Northwind' Switch Grass is a deciduous, ornamental grass with dense, upright growth. 'Northwind' Switch Grass is covered in olive-green to blue-green foliage that turns beige in fall. In late summer, clusters of golden flower plumes appear and turn beige while passing to the next season. This grass is a perfect choice for group, mass, and border plantings. 'Northwind' Switch Grass grows best in average, medium to wet, well-drained soils under full or partial sunlight.
