The Makita 40V MAX ConnectX Brushless Cordless String Trimmer is a high-performance, cordless solution designed for professional landscapers. The trimmer features a Makita-built brushless motor delivering high power and torque, comparable to gas models, for tackling tough weeds and overgrowth. It offers variable speed control, a bump feed cutting head for quick line advancement, and a 17" cutting swath for efficient coverage. The CRU03Z also includes an ergonomic design with an adjustable shoulder strap and auxiliary handle for comfortable operation during prolonged use. The CBU03Z is a "tool only" configuration, requiring a Makita 40V max XGT battery and compatible charger (sold separately). As part of the ConnectX system, it's designed to be powered by the backpack-style PDC1200 and PDC1500 portable power supplies for extended runtime, though it can also be used with standard XGT batteries.
